Impressions of Bing at Dmexco 2012 @DMEXCO #SEA team

This year Bing participated for the first time at the dmexco trade fair – the international digital marketing exposition and conference. We loved the event and the interaction we had with visitors so we’d like to give you an impression of this leading industry event.

I’m really glad that we presented Bing at dmexco and that we had the opportunity to get in touch -in person- with our existing customers as well as with a huge amount of new customers. I heard that SMBs had been waiting for a long time for Bing to launch in Germany. Most were excited about the platform and the new features.

Kevin Gorby, Media Specialist at Bing, told me: “I’m really impressed about the huge amount of nice customer meetings, there was a lot of interest and we received a lot of request on our booth of people who want to get more information about Bing and Bing Ads. We noticed that the awareness and distribution from our search engine in Germany is increasing. We got fantastic feedback for example for the launch of the German training program and Bing Ads Intelligence Tool. We are glad to hear that!”

It is pleasing and exciting to see that dmexco is getting more and more relevant for the European and international market. Microsoft is really well prepared for the future and we are looking forward to take part in coming dmexco events as we regard Dmexco 2012 as a really a successful event for the Bing Team in Germany.

The Search Panel in the Debate Hall “Future of Search” was fully occupied. Markus Frank, Director Advertising & Online Microsoft Germany, was talking among other things about the Future and Development of Bing Search Engine.
